Frans Dijkmeijer graduated as textile designer from the Academy of Industrial Design in Eindhoven, Holland.

Characteristic of his woven textiles is the radiation of an almost mathematical and logical simplicity, despite their extreme technical complexity.

Frans Dijkmeijer has been making his mark on European textile design for decades and he currently lives in the South of France. In 2000 he received the Profiel prize in the Netherlands for his versatility as a designer to the textile industry.
