Grethe Sørensen is a renowned Danish textile weaver, having trained in Kolding at Kunsthåndværkerskolen.

She has received work grants and travel bursaries from Statens Kunstfond on several occasions and the foundation´s three-year work grant in 1991.

Her textiles have been exhibited throughout of the world.
