Rhythm, balance, and transition are created through the medium of pattern.
Several of the Frequency curtains illuminate how our senses interpret different frequencies as distinct visual experiences.
Curtains
Alpaca Leno
Alpaca Leno is woven with gentle alpaca, lyocell and wool. Soft yet strong, it is pleasingly tactile and has an intricate, open structure characterised by lustrous depth. Consequently, it comes alive as it drapes in the light.
Palf
Palf’s elegant, hand-woven look, supple yet stable touch, and vivid, irregular surface showcases the aesthetic possibilities of bio-based materials. It is woven with pineapple leaf fibre (PALF), traditionally discarded pineapple leaves, and lyocell produced in a closed loop process. Pineapple leaf fibre is a natural and renewable fibre extracted from the long leaves of the pineapple plant, a byproduct of fruit cultivation.
Sideway
Sideway is an elegant double-faced monomaterial woven from the finest spun linen. Woven with a satin binding, it has a smooth, subtly shimmering surface. Sideway drapes sculpturally, glowing delicately as the tonality of its deeper coloured back side shifts through in the light.
Air Line
Air Line, a linen monomaterial, is characterised by transparent vertical lines of light that rhythmically float across its structured ground. This design, which shifts between plain and pattern, infuses the textile’s surface with pronounced depth and vitality.
Kanou
Kanou is a puristic interpretation of a classic heavyweight canvas. Made from organic cotton and hemp, it has a robust presence and a tactile, smooth, crispy touch due to its aero finish. It is ideal for a variety of interiors and a natural choice for spaces that support peaceful reflection.
Broox
Broox is a tranquil, piece-dyed, mélange dimout with a vivid surface that recalls brushed wool. It derives its signature vibrancy from a construction combining anionic and cationic yarns, which absorb colours in different levels of intensity. It is woven with flame-retardant recycled polyester.
Mono Mix
Mono Mix is a monomaterial mélange with a clean cut wool expression. To create its sophisticated colour fading, it is crafted from flame-retardant recycled Trevira CS yarn made from post-industrial waste, using a cutting-edge spinning technique.
Kenya II
Kenya II, a new iteration of the celebrated Kenya design, is woven from crisp organic cotton. Due to its dense woven warp, cool, dry touch, and timeless yet fresh colours, it expresses a strong sense of wearability. Now 315 cm wide, it is ideal for spacious rooms and large floor-to-ceiling windows.
Lama Lino
Lama Lino has a soft, characterful, irregular structure and a hand-woven, artisanal expression. It is crafted by intertwining carefully selected undyed llama fibres with linen yarn, ensuring strong colour consistency and almost no pilling.
Frequency also looks into how regenerative, refined materials - such as soft llama, plush alpaca, and crisp pineapple leaf fibre (PALF) – can reshape the perception of colour, touch, and composition. At the same time, the collection offers recyclable monomaterials like flame-retardant Trevira CS and sophisticated blends of organic cotton with lustrous hemp, which embody new narratives and push the aesthetic boundaries of conscious design.
