To make it easier to explore and discover our product virtually, we have introduced a new image search function on our website.
Instead of browsing multiple categories, navigating filters, or relying on search terms, images can be used to find similar styles, materials, and design solutions across our collections. Acting as a visual library, it helps quickly identify options that match a specific aesthetic and streamline the design process.
The image search tool is accessible via the image search icon located in the top right corner of the website. Selecting the icon opens a dedicated tab, where an image can be uploaded for analysis. For optimal results, high-resolution images are recommended.
Once uploaded, the tool scans the image and identifies the closest visual matches within the Kvadrat catalogue, enabling efficient discovery of relevant products and materials.
The image search icon is also integrated into product pages. It is visible on the main product image and appears on additional images upon hover, allowing for quick access to visually related alternatives directly within the browsing experience.
Currently, image search is available for upholstery and curtains only. While the icon may also appear on other product pages, such as rugs, visual search functionality for these categories is not yet active.
The image search tool enables identification of visually related products across the catalogue, the exploration of alternative materials, textures, and design directions, and faster development of cohesive and consistent design concepts. The tool is supported by Stylib.
