We are looking for a Project Manager to be based in our Tokyo office, to support our Kvadrat Acoustics in projects management on projects located in Japan.

Job description:
Your will be responsible for the overall project delivery, from drawings, quotation, to completion. With continually improvement in quality, contractual process, and documentation along. Ultimately, to make Kvadrat Acoustics a signature product for acoustics in building architecture.

Details includes:
Support and manage high quality product and project from inception to implementation.
Coordination and technical support for designers, clients and contractors throughout the project with communication and participation in meetings.
Review and analysis of tender material to estimate constructability and the relevance for applying the Company’s products and services.
Prepare and submit quotations, technical drawings, cost studies, and other relevant documents and drawings as required.
Develop design, and technical solutions and construction drawings for submittals, and solve technical issues.
Work with the salesperson to provide an overview of margins based on different prices and advise salesperson and client on price structure.
Planning, identifying, and monitoring all aspects of the project delivery cycle. Including all risk on the project from financial, logistical, productions to personal, and ensure all the activities and works are in accordance with the approved plan.
To monitor and oversee all activities at site.
Invoicing deposits, balances, and installations – ensuring projects finish with a good margin and accounts are settled.
Ad hoc support to the manager.

Adaptable and flexible to the changing demands of the position.

Qualifications and knowledge required:
Bachelor’s Degree, major in architecture, interior design or engineering related subjects.
Minimum 3 years Project Management or Contracting related experience in commercial projects.
Knowledge and understanding of the commercial construction process from begin to end (including design, technical specifications and implementation).
Hands on experience of delivery such value projects consistently with high quality and profitably.
Familiar with supply chain, delivery processes and execution.
Native Japanese speaker with fluent English, both oral and written.
Proficient in AutoCAD & Microsoft software.
