Wes Anderson and Juman Malouf's 'Il sarcofago di Spitzmaus e altri tesori' at Fondazione Prada Milan

Continuing Kvadrat’s collaboration with Kunsthistorisches Museum and the Fondazione Prada in Vienna last year , Il sarcofago di Spitzmaus e altri tesori (Spitzmaus Mummy in a Coffin and Other Treasures) will be showcased in Milan starting this October. Featuring 537 artworks and objects selected by film director Wes Anderson and illustrator, designer and writer Juman Malouf , the 2019 edition has a larger display area and a greater number of exhibits.

Included among these exhibits are items from 12 collections of the Kunsthistorisches Museum: the Egyptian and Near Eastern Collection, the Collection of Greek and Roman Antiquities, the Picture Gallery, the Museum of Ethnology, the Theatre Museum, the Collection of Historic Musical Instruments, the Imperial Armoury, the Imperial Carriage Museum, the Kunstkammer, the Coin Collection, the Library, and the Collections of Ambras Castle.

Kvadrat has supported the exhibition with 2500 meters of Divina 3. Titled after an Egyptian wooden box with a mummified shrew from the 4th century BC, the exhibition will run from 20 September 2019 to 13 January 2020.
