"There is something special about a design that truly stands the test of time. In many ways it mirrors my own journey with Kvadrat - it softens and evolves over time yet remains as beautiful and relevant as the day it was first created."
What are you most proud of accomplishing in your role?
It is rare these days to stay with a company for so long, but I started with Kvadrat and am still here 23 years later. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of the journey that has brought Kvadrat to the position it holds in our market today. What I’m most proud of is not just the growth of the business, but the people I have had the privilege of working with and the influence we have had together in shaping our market and supporting our clients.
How and when did you start your career at Kvadrat?
I joined Kvadrat in 2002 as one of only two salespeople in the business in Australia. It was a very different time, and the journey since then has been remarkable.
How do you think of Kvadrat as an inclusive company?
From my experience, Kvadrat is incredibly inclusive. Despite being geographically, the furthest market from our headquarters in Denmark, we have always felt valued and connected to the global business. Our voice matters, and our contribution to Kvadrat’s global success is recognised, which is something I deeply appreciate.
What is your favourite Kvadrat product and why?
Hallingdal 65. I have it in my own home, and it was the first textile I ever learned about when I joined the company. There is something special about a design that truly stands the test of time. In many ways it mirrors my own journey with Kvadrat - it softens and evolves over time yet remains as beautiful and relevant as the day it was first created.
