Low frequency sound absorption panel

Soft Cells Lowtone panels have a specially developed glass textile membrane behind a tensioned front textile layer, and deliver excellent acoustic performance concentrated in the low and mid range frequencies – from 125 Hz upwards.

Particularly well suited to:  

  • Spaces with special acoustic requirements – not just sound absorption 
  • Small rooms or spaces with large free surfaces for combination with other types of Soft Cells panels  
  • Low frequency absorption and high frequency reflection –environments with constant low frequency sounds, e.g. ventilation systems.

Tensioning mechanism
The patented tensioning mechanism in Soft Cells panels keeps the fabric under constant tension by suspension springs, creating a drum-skin effect. This prevents sagging.

Folds and creases around corners are eliminated by a special insert, which secures the excess fabric. Importantly, this does not affect the natural movement of the textile.

End caps
You can create a polished look with end caps by covering the small gap between the installed Soft Cells panel and the wall.

Textiles & colours

 A standard set of textiles have been tested for sound absorption according to ISO 11654/EN ISO 354. Additional textiles can be tested for acoustic performance upon request.
