A: The Tabletops come in 5 different sizes:

Q: Does the Textile Board with melamine come in different sizes?
A: The Textile board with melamine only comes in one size which is 1100x3000 mm, with a thickness of 10 mm.
 
 
Q: Does the Textile Board and Textile Tabletop come in different thicknesses?
A: The Textile boards are always 10 mm and the Textile Tabletops always 18 mm.
 
 
Q: Are the Solid Textile Boards water-resistant?
A: We cannot recommend applying the Textile Boards and Textile Tabletops in areas with a lot of water, such as out-doors, kitchen, and bathrooms. Textile Boards are covered with melamine and meets the industry’s highest standard for wear and tear, category 5 surface resistance.
 
 
Q: Are standard Textile Tabletops delivered with pre-drilled holes for mounting?
A: Standard Textile Tabletops are delivered without pre-drilled holes, as table solutions and design and mounting systems varies. At an extra cost, we offer to pre-drill holes based on technical drawings delivered by clients (DXF files).
 
 
Q: How is the return process of end-of-life Kvadrat Really products?
A: Kvadrat Really materials are designed for circularity. By agreement, we can take back larger quantities of used products, recycle them into new products, and return them to the client. This is after a certain lifetime of the initial product of at least 3 years.
 
 
Q: What happens to a Kvadrat Really product that cannot be used anymore?
A: The boards can be re-grinded and used for production of new Kvadrat Really boards.
 
 
Q: Why is the core in the Textile Board white and the core in the Textile Tabletop multi-coloured?                                               
A: The Textile Board core is white because a large amount of white post-consumer textile is available from hospitals, hotels, and other larger facilities.                                       
The Textile Tabletop core is multi-coloured as the core represents the blended colour fractions in textile waste. In the final product the core is covered by edge bands or lacquer.
 
 
Q: How strong is the Textile Board and Textile Tabletop compared to MDF boards?
A: The strength of the Textile board and Textile Tabletop is almost the double of MDF boards, and the level of stiffness a little higher than MDF boards. The cotton versions of Kvadrat Really boards are stronger and stiffer than the woollen versions.
 
 
Q: How many kilos of textile is used for creating one Textile Board or Textile Tabletop?
A: The weight of one Textile board in the size 10x1100x3000 = 29 kilo. A t-shirt weighs about 0.29 kilos, this means that about 100 t-shirts are used for one Textile Board.
The weight of a Textile Tabletop 18x800x1600 mm = 19 Kilo, which equals 60 T-shirts with an average weight of 215 g.
