Osloo by FOS

Venice, 2011

Osloo is a 70sqm floating pavilion, which is “activated and fully realized” through different events and audience encounters. Originally shown in 2010 in Copenhagen, it went on to become part of the Danish Pavilion at la Biennale di Venezia 2011. During this time, it was open to the public and offered a free program of events based around the theme of Language

Special versions of the Kvadrat textile Blitz are used on Osloo as ‘sails’. They feature a graphic design by FOS based on World War I battleship camouflage, and partition the space while providing protection from the wind.
