Pauline Deltour | Carousel

Curated by Constance Rubini

Pauline Deltour’s Carousel is a low table with a revolving book-rack displaying magazines and books in colorful fabric compartments. A simple structure consists of a rotating central stem supporting a series of hooks that allow the fabric to hang down and create multiple pockets. Topping the structure is a circular maple wood surface.

A surprising and unconventional use of fabric, Pauline Deltour’s concept emphasizes Hallingdal’s qualities, and offers a show-case for its varied colors and textures as both a decorative and structural element.

French Pauline Deltour, studied applied art and design at the ENSAAMA in Paris before obtaining a bachelor’s degree in industrial design from ENSAD in Paris.
