    Lightfastness relates to the ability of a textile to retain its colour under light. When testing for lightfastness, samples are exposed to artificial daylight for a specified period.

    The evaluation scale ranges from 1 (worst) to 8 (best). An increase of one point corresponds to a doubling of the lightfastness, i.e. the same fading takes twice as long.

Care instructions curtain textiles

Regular cleaning is important in order to keep the curtain textile looking its best and to prolong its life. Dust and dirt wear down the textile and also reduce its fire-retardant properties.

  • Regelbunden rengöring

    Vi rekommenderar att gardinerna tvättas en gång om året. Vid intensiv användning kan det vara lämpligt med mer regelbunden tvätt. Alla gardintyger från Kvadrat och Kinnasand levereras med all underhållsmärkning fastsydd. För att minska risken för allergiproblem rekommenderar vi tvättmedel som inte innehåller optiska blekmedel, parfym eller färgämnen. Vi rekommenderar att du använder ett milt tvättmedel utan optiska blekmedel för alla tyger där det enligt tvättinstruktionerna är möjligt att tvätta. Tänk på att de eventuellt kan krympa mellan 1 - 3 %.
