Dinesen Apartment by David Thulstrup in Brooklyn, New York

Opening in Brooklyn this autumn, as a temporary showroom, the Dinesen Apartment by David Thulstrup is a unique opportunity for visitors to experience Danish craftsmanship in an intimate and beautifully curated residential setting. Located across the 1st and 2nd floors of 144 Vanderbilt Avenue, a thoughtfully designed building by SO—IL, the apartment blends architecture, interior design, and atmosphere in a warm, homely context.

The Dinesen Apartment by David Thulstrup is Dinesen’s second apartment concept, and it includes a curated selection of Kvadrat, Sahco, and Magniberg products featured throughout the interiors to bring softness and texture to the space. Set within a calm and grounded colour palette, the textiles work in harmony with Dinesen’s signature surfaces. Furnishings include a carefully selected mix of David Thulstrup’s own designs, John Pawson pieces for Dinesen, and vintage Danish works by Arne Jacobsen and Severin Hansen, adding historical depth.

The interiors reflect Thulstrup’s philosophy of crafting spaces that are not only seen but felt, inviting guests to experience and connect with materials, textures, and the emotional power of design.

Open by appointment until February 2026
