WWE
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)'s newly built headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, captures the energy, visual drama, and raw emotion of sports entertainment. A Kvadrat Acoustics Solution contributes to shaping the high-octane experience of the space.
Specially printed Soft Cells Broadline acoustic panels on the walls featuring a cheering crowd span four floors. They work to minimise noise, make conversations easier to hear and capture the thrill of WWE professional wrestling.
The print is pixelated and applied to 83 individual panels, which are upholstered in Casa. It is designed to be the first element you see upon entering the building's reception area. As you look up from the ground floor, you see how the different panels form a whole and link the floors.
Soft Cells Broadline panels are also installed in the ceiling and walls of the reception area, a TV recording studio, and a sound studio. They seamlessly integrate building services in the hi-tech HQ. In the social zones, they meet the reverberation challenge provided by the expansive architecture, large windows and hard surfaces. In the private work area, they support visual simplicity and productive, precise sound design.
