Kvadrat was established in Denmark in 1968 and now holds a leading position in the European market of design-textiles supplying renowned architects, designers and furniture manufacturers throughout the world, for use in upholstery and curtains.
Our fabrics have been used in architectural developments such as The Gherkin, London; Museum of Modern Art, NYC; Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles; Reichstag, Berlin; Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao; Copenhagen and Oslo Opera houses.
In China, Kvadrat has delivered textiles for the Guangzhou Opera House, the Qingdao Opera House and the National Museum in Beijing, Cartier, Yves St. Laurent, Dior, Lacoste, Armani, MaxMara and Louis Vuitton. Furniture manufacturers like Moroso, Capellini, B&B Italia, Vitra and others are using Kvadrat textiles.
In 2010 Kvadrat launched `The Dwelling Lab´, a collaboration with BMW, Patricia Urquiola and Giulio Ridolfo.
