Living Room – Visibility (United States)

A welcoming space to drink tea with friends and family, or a comforting place to play cards or break bread – Living Room is a project designed to use the qualities of Kvadrat Febrik textiles to redesign the dining table. Created by Visibility, a New York-based industrial design practice founded by Joseph Guerra and Sina Sohrab, Living Room draws its inspiration from traditions of dining and seating in the Middle East. Visibility chose to focus its project by looking at seating typologies that are low to the ground and arranged around the perimeter of a room – Living Room proposes a circular structure organised around a central table that is upholstered in a blue Uniform Melange textile.
