The GIE AXA Headquarters at Avenue Matignon unifies three existing Parisian buildings into one adaptable workplace. Conceived as a living ecosystem, the design supports movement, collaboration and well-being. Within this transformation, Kvadrat Really textile boards define shared tables and meeting points, embedding circular thinking directly into the daily work environment.
The material strategy was guided by durability and responsibility. Kvadrat Really textile boards, made from compressed recycled textiles, are used as tabletops in furniture developed with Unifor and Duriez Agencement. Their robust composition makes them suited to high-use environments while giving textile waste a renewed architectural function.
In open and transparent spaces shaped by glass and mineral materials, the tactile quality of Kvadrat Really introduces visual warmth and material depth. The boards contribute to a cohesive interior language rooted in longevity and reuse.
“The workspace should not be a fixed framework, but a living ecosystem that adapts to the needs and emotions of those who inhabit it,” says Jean-Philippe Cordina, Executive Creative Director and Partner at Saguez & Partners.
Through the integration of recycled materials and considered acoustic design, the headquarters demonstrates how circularity can be embedded in both performance and spatial identity. The project received the Best of Year Award (Large Corporate Office category) from Interior Design magazine in New York.
