Fil-à-Fil offers a multifaceted rhythm of intricate details and fine lines that appear as stripes within stripes. Bold and impactful, these tactile elements have a handwoven look referencing original sketches by designer Inga Sempé.
The curtain brings an artisanal feel to the archetypal herringbone construction. The yarns made from linen, TENCEL™ lyocell and recycled silk interact to create sprinkles of contrasting colours that disrupt its tactile, soft surface. The ground matches that of Fil, a refined plain in this collection. Consequently, the two designs offer inspirational combination opportunities.

LightFastness {{site.selectedConfiguration.lightFastness}}
ISO 105-B02
Lightfastness relates to the ability of a textile to retain its colour under light. When testing for lightfastness, samples are exposed to artificial daylight for a specified period.
The evaluation scale ranges from 1 (worst) to 8 (best). An increase of one point corresponds to a doubling of the lightfastness, i.e. the same fading takes twice as long.

Multiply explore fibres, materials, volumes through visionary manipulations of yarn dyeing, spinning, and folding techniques. Each design in the collection is infused with refined multidimensionality, resulting from the interaction between different materiality, weaving rhythm, and colours.
Regular cleaning is important in order to keep the curtain textile looking its best and to prolong its life. Dust and dirt wear down the textile and also reduce its fire-retardant properties.

Regular care
If possible, we recommend washing curtains once a year. If used heavily, a more frequent cleaning may be appropriate. All curtain fabrics by Kvadrat and Sahco are supplied with a care label. We recommend the use of detergent without optical bleach for all items in which, according to care instructions, washing is possible. Please take into account a possible shrinkage between 1–4 %. It is always possible to wash at a lower temperature that the one specified for light soiling. Please contact a professional dry cleaner if dry cleaning is the only option for maintenance. A professional dry cleaner may also assist in working out maintenance schedules which ensure that the fabrics are maintained properly so that a good indoor climate and maximum duration of the curtains are achieved.
