Out of these worlds 1 | PwC Sydney

Knitted Kvadrat Febrik textiles play an integral part at the Client Collaboration floors of Price Waterhouse Cooper's (PwC) Sydney offices. The interior concept incorporates best 'out of industry' aspects of the hotel, retail, airline and educational spaces.

A key goal of behind the project was to enable clients to collaborate in new ways in hospitality-style, technologically advanced, open environments. The Kvadrat Febrik textiles support this ambition by introducing tactile surfaces and enhancing acoustic conditions.

The textile Triangle, specified for its textural play and acoustic properties, features on wall-panels in the meeting rooms. Artifort Mood armchairs are upholstered in Uniform Melange and Gentle.

Razzle Dazzle  is chosen for NAU Plum chairs, modular Derlot Prisma furniture, and Issy Fabric Lounge sofas, which are also upholstered in Razzle Dazzle. To complete the picture, Drop is used on Schiavello Blom chairs.

The Client Collaboration floors were recognised with the 2018 Good Design Award® Best in Class CATEGORY: Architectural Design Interior Design. They cover 2200 sqm and are in a lozenge shape. About 70% of the perimeter offers unobstructed views across Sydney and Darling Harbour.

Gavin Harris, Design Director, Futurespace: “Kvadrat Febrik was selected for the rich textile textures which it provides for the wall panelling in the meeting rooms, which enhances the acoustic properties of the spaces.
