Upcycled Side Table crafted from Wool Textile Board

FÓLK, a progressive Icelandic design company focused on sustainable living, has created a collection crafted from Textile Board. Entitled “The Upcycled Collection”, this comprises two innovative, made-to-order furniture concepts.

Upcycled Side Table is created by Icelandic designer Jón Helgi Hólmgeirsson. Each table is made of our Textile Board, recycled steel and FSC®-certified solid ash wood.

Jón Helgi Hólmgeirsson experimented with asymmetric forms and easy mounting to create Upcycled Side Table. Dwell magazine has named the piece as one of the best upcycled products of 2020.

Upcycled Lamp continues Icelandic designer Theodora Alfredsdottir’s journey into simple forms, shapes and moulds. It is constructed from two pieces of white Cotton Board, which form a sleek and functional table lamp.

FÓLK works with progressive designers on smart homeware, furniture and lifestyle products focused on sustainability, responsibility and transparency. The brand supports the transition to a circular economy and inspires people to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
