Apo X is available in two distinct line configurations, each exploring variations in density and rhythm. These patterns are carefully calibrated to introduce a sense of spatial order while remaining visually discreet. The construction demonstrates the precision of Kvadrat Shade weaving, and reflects a considered approach to both aesthetics and performance.

Erwan Bouroullec – “Window covering textiles are an essential part of the architectural language. The patterns I designed for Apo X are scaled so that the eye can appreciate the pattern from a distance. The idea was to match the scale of architecture and to create a pattern to help create darker zones, even on a bright background. These darker zones make it easier for the eye to see through the textile and enjoy the view beyond.”

Apo X offers excellent glare control (class 3-4), reducing harsh light and preventing diffuse light transmission. Most colours score the highest class, ensuring optimal visual comfort.

By effectively filtering daylight, Apo X creates a more balanced indoor environment, enhancing occupant well-being, eliminating eye strain and increasing productivity. At the same time, Apo X maintains a good visual contact with the outside.
