Erik Ole Jørgensen

This acclaimed Scandinavian designer produced furniture designs during the 1940’s and 1950’s, many of which remain classics of Danish design history today. Ole Jørgensen designed textiles to compliment his furniture collections and in doing so created a complete oeuvre of work. Inspired predominantly by material and, in his textile designs, systematically applying the same nine colours, plus black and white, he created simple, covetable and uncluttered designs that are effortlessly elegant.
