Sales Manager Residential, Kvadrat France

To strengthen our presence in France, we are now looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead the development of our Residential segment, build and maintain key client relationships, expand our sales pipeline and drive cross-segment collaboration.

We would like to welcome a new Sales Manager to join our Residential team at our office in Paris, France at the earliest opportunity. 

Your Role 

As Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing our business with existing and new clients across France. You will be the key driver for our brand within the Residential segment, ensuring visibility of our products in design environments and strengthening our network within architecture, interior design and high-end retail. A few days of travelling abroad to fairs or our headquarter is expected per year. Our showroom is open Monday to Friday, and closed Saturday.

Main responsibilities include: 

  • Conduct regular sales meetings with clients, and manage the ambassador portfolio with a strategic, client-specific approach

  • Increase sample penetration for each product group

  • Participate in activating and promoting our Residential showroom, including coordinating client visits

  • When not visiting clients, you are a naturel part of our residential showroom team. You will after thorough training be responsible for the showroom at least one permanent day per week

  • Keep client libraries updated with the latest materials, samples and product information

  • Ensure visibility in shops for all product groups by implementation of shop in shop modules

  • Expand our client base within: Residential Architects, Furniture shops, Textile shops, to create critical mass in turnover

  • Drive sales performance, including proactive follow-up

Qualifications & Competencies 

  • Strong skills in sales development, project pipeline management, tracking and closing them

  • Ability to engage and align with multiple stakeholders

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally to secure complex projects 

  • Confident in presenting design-oriented products to professional audiences 

  • Effective meeting facilitation and storytelling abilities 

  • Strong negotiation and client communication abilities at all levels

  • Competent in using tools like CRM, business intelligence dashboards and key account plans 

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages ​​are an advantage 

  • Several years of experience in sales, in high-end interior retail either from direct sales or from working in a shop on equivalent level of the Kvadrat’s Residential business

  • Strong network within the French Residential Architects, Furniture shops and Textile shops is highly desirable 

  • As a person, you are patient, flexible, positive and service-minded  

  • You are proactive, structured and happy to lend a helping hand to colleagues during busy periods  

  • You are curious to learn about Kvadrat and our products
