Weave for ceilings

Product description
Weave is a patented radiant textile panel solution that provides efficient heating and cooling for superior thermal, aesthetic, and acoustic comfort. It works by circulating water through pipes to heat or cool a radiant surface behind a tensioned metallised textile layer. Unlike traditional systems that adjust air temperature, Weave directly warms or cools surfaces and occupants, improving climate control.

These panels incorporate an acoustic absorbent behind a metallised textile layer. Typically, this product offers Class B broadband sound absorption, as per ISO 11654.

Key benefits
Weave directly heat or cool surfaces and occupants, creating a comfortable environment without changing air temperature. Weave panels smaller ducts increase floor space and ceiling height, while being whisper-quiet and requiring minimal maintenance. Using water for energy transfer, they are more energy-efficient than forced-air systems, operating at lower temperatures.

Tensioning mechanism
The patented tensioning mechanism in the radiant textile panels keeps the fabric under constant tension by suspension springs, creating a drum-skin effect. This prevents sagging.

Corners
Folds and creases around corners are eliminated by a special insert, which secures the excess fabric. Importantly, this does not affect the natural movement of the textile.

Installation

Weave is installed through a torsion spring suspension method. Used in modular suspended ceiling layouts with a minimum of 155 mm between the front of the panel and the installation surface. Provides easy access behind panels by allowing for quick release and hinging of individual panels and does not require safety wires.

Custom metallised textiles

Textiles are typically poor heat conductors, but Weave use an engineered textile with a metallised backside for efficient climate control. The contact between the metal radiant panel and the aluminised textile enhances thermal performance.

This provides architects and engineers with a high-performing radiant ceiling solution that enhances well-being through superior thermal, acoustic, and aesthetic properties. Weave is integrated with our metalised textile Casa Vero, which comes in four standard variants, with custom colours available for seamless design integration.
