CAN-DO ATTITUDE
The interior of 70 St Mary Axe, a landmark building in the City of London, features a Kvadrat Acoustics solution comprising Soft Cells acoustic panels for walls and ceilings on levels 14 to 19. It is specified in lobbies, informal meeting rooms, beverage spots, workstations and booths.

Soft Cells Broadline acoustic ceiling panels by Kvadrat Acoustics are installed on hinges and push latches to ensure easy access to building services. In the workstation areas, to provide a seamless aesthetic, they have filleted edges which are engineered to precisely fit with adjacent surfaces.

The Soft Cells Broadline acoustic panels on the ceilings are upholstered in a subtle shade of the textile Casa, which is also used in complementary tone on the Soft Cells Tracks solution in the meeting rooms. Hallingdal 65, in a more vibrant colour, is used for the booths.

St Mary’s Axe is 21 storeys high and offers 28000 sqm of office space above shops located on the lower levels. It is informally known as "The Can of Ham" due to its distinctive arched profile.
