Green building certifications

Kvadrat Acoustics solutions reflect our commitment to drive positive change through transparency. They contribute to an array of sustainable building certifications, such as DGNB, LEED, BREEAM, WELL, and with yearly updated EPDs.

Certifications such as these play a critical role in fostering knowledge and trust. They also provide you as an architect and designer with benchmarks for evaluating the environmental social and economic impact of their buildings.

BREEAM

Key criteria cover: low emitting materials for good indoor quality, declarations of our acoustic solutions so they do not present any harmful substances as Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC), acoustic performance, environmental impact and health through life cycle assessment for our acoustic solutions using Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and carbon emissions arising from energy use. Read more about BREEAM here.

DGNB

Key criteria cover: environmental impact, third-party verification, energy use over the lifetime of the building, and indoor climate (with a focus on acoustic insulation). Read more about DGNB here.

LEED

Key criteria cover: life cycle assessment for our acoustic solutions using Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), low emitting materials for good indoor quality, declarations of our acoustic solutions so they do not present any harmful substances as Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC), acoustic performance. Read more about LEED here.

WELL

Key criteria cover: life cycle assessment for our acoustic solutions using Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), low emitting materials for good indoor quality, declarations of our acoustic solutions so they do not present any harmful substances as Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC), acoustic performance, wellbeing of the building’s users, materials that facilitate easy cleaning and maintenance, and enabling the building to be adapted to changing needs.
