Orgatec 2022

This fall our successful collaboration with Italian colour maestro Giulio Ridolfo enters a new chapter, as we present a new colour range in Steelcut 3, as well as a new upholstery textile, Steelcut Quartet. During Orgatec, our visitors also have the exclusive opportunity to preview Steelcut Beat, which will launch in February.

Moreover, we present a nature-inspired colour update of Hero 2 by Patricia Urquiola, alongside the new Kvadrat Really’s Textile Tabletop and the versatile roller blind system Minimal by Kvadrat Shade.

The collection explores new expressions of the iconic upholstery Steelcut.

Designed by Giulio Ridolfo, Steelcut 3 enriches the existing palette with 19 colourways. A newly launched upholstery textile, Steelcut Quartet, expands the current collection with new intriguing colour combinations.

Textile Tabletop by Kvadrat Really

Circular Textile Tabletop combines circularity, durability, and aesthetic excellence. Crafted from textile waste, it offers a tactile melamine surface and matching or contrasting oak, lacquer, and impact-resistant and heat-tolerant ABS edges.

Hero 2 by Patricia Urquiola

Hero 2 is a full-bodied upholstery textile designed by Patricia Urquiola. It exemplifies Kvadrat’s commitment to the Conscious Design Principles: woven from wool, a renewable resource, and re-engineered to contain recycled nylon.

Minimal by Kvadrat Shade

Minimal is an interior roller blind solution designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec to offer the ‘best minimum’. Its core component is an innovative bracket crafted from a single piece of folded steel. Minimal not only minimises the use of materials; it is also durable and easy to assemble, install and use. It is exceptionally flexible too, both aesthetically and functionally.
