DR Concert Hall

Project
FANNYARONSEN fabric has been chosen for the seating in the large concert hall of the new DR Concert Hall. Inaugurated in 2009, the building is recognised as a masterpiece of acoustic architecture. It has a distinctive cube-like structure covered in big screens, which can be used to show projected visual content. The interior features entirely different materials and shapes to the ‘cube’ exterior.

Solution
The 1,800 seats in the large concert hall are upholstered with Haakon in 5 custom-made shades, ranging from light orange to dark red.
