Multi-story Venue

The GS Arts Center in the heart of Teheran-ro in Seoul is a dynamic cultural space where stories come to life. It integrates a state-of-the-art proscenium stage where artists and audiences from diverse backgrounds come together to share memories, dreams, and narratives. The audience looks on from seating upholstered with Steelcut Quartet.

Steelcut Quartet was specified in a blue note on the hall's 1211 seats for its pioneering melange expression, durability and responsible profile. The textile is Greenguard Gold and HPD certified and complies with the EU Ecolabel.

Critically, the hall offers optimal sightlines and evenly distributed acoustics from every seat. It also features a state-of-the-art proscenium stage, and is designed to accommodate diverse performances, including dance, theatre, musicals, opera, classical, jazz, popular music concerts, media art, and interdisciplinary productions.

Originally built in 2000, the venue has been completely remodelled and reborn as GS Arts Center in 2025. Throughout the space and the connected GS Tower, there are various spaces offering cultural experiences, including a large media wall in the lobby, cafes and restaurants, an art shop, and a convenience store.
