The Retta family of roller blind textiles includes Retta, Silvretta and Retta Blockout. Together, they are designed to deliver visual consistency with tailored performance, supporting architectural intent across diverse spaces.

Created by Louise Sigvardt, all three textiles are built on the same woven construction, ensuring visual coherence across applications. Each textile is then treated differently to meet specific functional requirements, from solar control to full blockout, while preserving a shared design logic in texture, scale and colour.

The family began with Silvretta, a metallised textile developed to enhance thermal and visual comfort. It expanded with Retta, a non-metallised screen textile with a more natural, open expression. With Retta Blockout, the family is completed by a blockout solution that broadens the range of performance possibilities.

Retta - A light, woven screen textile

Retta is a non-metallised screen textile with a soft, airy appearance. Its woven structure gives depth and tactility, while allowing daylight to pass through. Its performance is highly colour-dependent, because it is a non-metallised textile.

Silvretta builds on the Retta design with a metallised backing that enhances thermal and visual comfort. The textile retains the same rich, woven character while delivering consistent solar reflection and reliable glare control.

Retta Blockout - Complete darkening solution

Retta Blockout completes the family with full light exclusion, independent of colour choice. The textile is woven and yarn-dyed, with a colour-matched blockout backing. It combines functional performance with a refined textile appearance.

Looking out of the window: Select your level of connection

The Retta family shapes how light and view are experienced through the window. Each textile offers a different balance between openness, comfort and control. Together, they allow designers to choose the level of connection at the window – from open and connected to fully enclosed – depending on the needs of the space.

Retta provides view through that connects the interior with the outside. As the textile is non-metallised, the view varies with colour. Darker shades give a clearer view out, lighter tones admit more light, softening the outside view.
