Wool has always been at the heart of Kvadrat, starting with our iconic Hallingdal textile designed by Nanna Ditzel. Throughout history, wool has been cherished for creating clothing and textiles. It is a renewable material with exceptional qualities: naturally water-repellent and flame-retardant, flexible, durable, and comfortable. Most of our woollen textiles carry the EU Ecolabel, a testament to their sustainability.

Twisted Flower

Twisted Flower is a woollen upholstery textile that unites the colour mastery of Giulio Ridolfo with the weaving ingenuity of the late Frans Dijkmeijer, inspired by their shared love of botanicals. The weave is based on a construction discovered in Frans Dijkmeijer’s archive and translated from a handwoven sample into an industrial weave

Technicolour

Technicolour is a tactile melange upholstery by Peter Saville crafted using a specially developed colour system. It is woven in Britain from locally sourced wool and unfolds the essence of the celebrated Technicolour collection.

Hallingdal 65

Hallingdal 65 is a very durable upholstery textile originally designed in 1965 by Nanna Ditzel. Since then, Kvadrat’s very first textile ‘Hallingdal’ has become the archetype of woollen textiles.

Steelcut 3

Steelcut 3 is a hardwearing upholstery textile, designed by Frans Dijkmeijer and coloured by Giulio Ridolfo. It has a simple, precise expression, despite the complex weaving technique used in its production.

Re-wool 2

Designed by Margrethe Odgaard and crafted using 45% recycled wool, Re-wool is a rich wollen upholstery textile partly made by reusing scraps from Kvadrat’s yarn spinners in the UK.

Serpentine

Serpentine by Giulio Ridolfo is a voluminous woollen upholstery, whose construction combines classic craftsmanship with modern techniques to create dynamic colour interactions and a distinctive tactility.

Divina 3

Divina is a full-cloth product, which means that it is manufactured by weaving the yarn in a coarse linen hose casing, after which, it is subjected to mechanical processing using very high temperatures, at the same time as it is being coloured.

Remix 3

Remix 3 is an elegant upholstery textile designed by Giulio Ridolfo. It is very durable and offers a long-life span. Furthermore, it has a high content of renewable fibres and is certified according to the EU Ecolabel.

Alle

By juxtaposing tactile woven lines and flat surfaces in organic repetitions, Alle materialises the essence of Ronan Bouroullec’s drawings, offering a rich surface reminiscent of the pen strokes in the designer´s artworks.

Sabi

Sabi explores layers and bright colour paradigms. Designed by Louise Sigvardt, it is crafted with 23% recycled wool from our yarn spinner Wooltex in the UK.

Canvas 2

The melange yarn used to craft Canvas 2 combines three colours, with six hues in every colourway, offering exceptional colour richness and an intriguing expression.
