According to the Paris Agreement, every building must be ‘net zero’ by 2050. And, the sooner we get there, the better. To help you to calculate how your building design can be net zero, we have developed a carbon neutrality tool, to show you how our solutions can bring down your carbon emissions.

The carbon neutrality tool enables you to configure different solutions for your project and discover how long they will take to hit the carbon-neutral break-even point.

Critically, the tool takes into account that the creation of our products inevitably has an environmental impact. It balances this against the ability of our solutions to minimise CO2 emissions* by negating the need for heating and cooling.

**How we calculate energy savings

Insulation and solar heat gain calculations are performed in WIS 3.0.1.SP2 in compliance with EN-ISO 52022-3 algorithms and are based on annual Solar irradiations and thermal heat flow through the fenestration. Local meteorological data and cost of electricity are based on yearly averages. COP of the air conditioning/heat pump in these calculations is 3.5.
